If you've come to our giving page, odds are you're a part of our church family in some way. But if you're not, maybe you're wondering how we feel about giving. So if that's you, here it is in a nutshell: Every gift of God is meant not just to be enjoyed but shared, and enjoyed all the more in the sharing. This is what Jesus demonstrated to his disciples when he had them feed 5,000 families with five loaves of bread and two fish -- it's a picture of stewardship, trust, and worship. So we feel we should look at our skills and talents, our time and energy, and our material possessions through this lens. Practicing this with our finances through generous giving is obviously only one dimension of generosity, but it's also one of the best and most accessible ways for many of us to bring this idea of Kingdom stewardship from the head to a gut-level reality.
